Fertilizer Import Flows in 2024: What the Data Shows
The table above is a snapshot of fertilizer import flows into the US in 2024. It shows 12 destination cities receiving fertilizer across 38 bills of lading, with routes from Atlantic, Gulf, and Pacific ports.
Tampa dominates with 32 BOLs, almost all tied to Yara North America, Eurochem North America, and Helm Fertilizer. Tampa receives fertilizer through Savannah, Brunswick, Charleston, Baton Rouge, Wilmington, Tampa (direct), Corpus Christi, New Orleans, Mobile, Gramercy, and Stockton. Fresno, Atlanta, Minneapolis, New York, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Miami, Houston, Wichita, and San Francisco receive smaller volumes.
